Doesn't MediaWiki only use those urls if you are using php as a cgi?
This has helped me in the past if you need it:
i am sorry because of mail you but i am wanting to set up a site with
media
wiki and i cant eliminate the index.php?= part.
my situation is a site naming
www.wikimax.org(where i have to work in a
3ds
max articles and tutorials) and i would want to get something like this:
www.wikimax.org/new_article_name <http://www.wikimax.org/new_article_name><
http://www.wikimax.org/new_article_name>
so yes, my wiki installation goes on root of www, then, how can i do to
get
the new articles in this form?? i have readed the FAQs on how to eliminate
but didnt get nothing good....
thanks ;)
