Thanks Viswa. Just curious, do Malayalam Wiki bureaucrats have rights to remove adminship?
Since nobody in Tamil Wiki had the rights, we had to request some Stewards. IIRC, Jyotis
came to our help. Are there other rights beyond bureaucrats that anyone feels necessary?

Subha,

Yes. Also helps for a smooth transition of admin activities, leadership across wiki
generations.
Viswam,
Thanks for clarifying. I was wondering why the most active Malayam community had
relatively fewer admins.
In Tamil Wikipedia, we have removed the admin status for few users who were not reachable
or had no intent to continue contributing. Otherwise, we have very few inactive admins who
haven't contributed for more than a year.
Considering the size of our community, we feel that going through a step by step procedure
like Auto Patrol, Roll back etc. will be a needless chore.
Ravi
