I'm using:

but it keeps throwing one of the values out of the resulting hyperlink. If I add in
|caption|caption-text
then the caption show up correctly. But with no caption, it does the weird thing.
Ideas?
Thanks!
Tim

None of these values would be on the hyperlink, so it's normal for them not to be in the hyperlink.
What you should see is:
* a 200px-wide thumbnail image * in a box * with no caption text * floating to the right * which links to the page Image:Image.jpg on your wiki
If I add in
|caption|caption-text
then the caption show up correctly. But with no caption, it does the weird thing.
Can you describe the weird thing?

The weird thing is leaving one of the values outside the hyperlink. However, the fix that works is add the pipe after the last value. For example, this:

Results in a hyperlink to the image in a box, as expected, but with the "200px" on the next line, not hyperlinked. But if I add the pipe at the end:

Then it works as expected.

The weird thing is leaving one of the values outside the hyperlink.
No such values will *ever* appear in the hyperlink.
It is therefore not weird. It is normal.
However, the fix that works is add the pipe after the last value. For example, this:

Results in a hyperlink to the image in a box, as expected, but with the "200px" on the next line, not hyperlinked.
Do you mean that "200px" appears as the image caption?
This does not happen in my testing.
But if I add the pipe
at the end:

Then it works as expected.
Please describe what you mean by "as expected".
This would go a million times faster if you can provide a URL to a page showing the problem.

Also, here's the page where I can't get the template to make thumbnail:
http://64.13.227.199/wiki/index.php/Strawberry_Fields_Forever
That image, per the Wikipedia "Infobox Single" template, should be a thumbnail.
Thanks Brion.

At this page, the image:

renders 100% correctly. There's nothing wrong with it.

You're either missing Template:Min or you're trying to call a custom parser function that's missing or has a different name.

Thanks Brion.
Ha! Of course, it's not doing it now, but I swear it was doing what I described. Oh well.
And, yes, adding the Template:Min (copied from Wikipedia) did the trick. Now I just wish that the table didn't render at double the width it's supposed to (200px, rather than about 400px).
Thanks again.
