Hi. I will need to create a wiki site with mediawiki,
but i wont have
internet. After installing mediawiki, i will have to go to mediawiki site and
read some usage and configuration details. Is there an offline html version
of current
mediawiki.org site, so that i can download it and read the help
and manual parts?
Hello,
Settings are commented in ./includes/DefaultSettings.php .
If you want a mirror of
www.mediawiki.org, you can download a dump at:
http://download.wikimedia.org/mediawikiwiki/latest/
You want the mediawiki-latest-pages-articles.xml.bz2 file. You can then
import it in a mediawiki installation. Et voilà, you got documentation.
See
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Data_dumps for more information about
importing a dump.
cheers,
