Hi,
I am migrating a site to mediawiki. All the articles are stored in separate files and i also have some related images.
For converting the HTML and importing to my mediawiki site i am using the MwImporter (http://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=22715.0). I could not find any details documentation to use this script.
This script is working fine, but i could not find any option to add the username or edit summery, it is showing my IP address in the place of username and there is a default edit summery.
Need some suggestion to add the username and edit summery.

Username wise, It's last edit was in 2010, So I doubt its coded to be able to log in via the API, even if it was, It is now broken and would be ill-usable. as for edit summaries, read-me wise "--mw_comment" could possibly cover it.
Since it's open source, Somone could possibly fix this for you. If there isn't already a better solution to do this.
thanks for the reply.
I the 'edit summery' but not the 'username'.
Actually i need a HTML to Mediawiki converter, i tried to use the http://code.google.com/p/gwtwiki/wiki/HTML2Mediawiki and and http://toolserver.org/~diberri/cgi-bin/html2wiki/index.cgi but it did not work in my local machine.
for importing to mediawiki the Edit.php maintenance script is good enough to complete the task. but before importing i will need to convert them. And here the MwImporter can do the both, but the username part is important for for me.
It would be great if you can suggest me an good option to convert the HTML to Mediawiki .
