Thanks, Josh

I don't think there's anything to install, it's just template. Just copy the code from a site you like the look of.
Hi Thomas,
I copied various templates such as Template:Infobox from wikipedia, though my page still looks funny... Is there anything else i need to install? I saw while googling some people mentioned needed to install ParserFunctions?
Thanks, Josh

Actually, getting all the templates that are used on Wikipedia is quite difficult. I have failed so far, but have figured out that you need at least some parser function extensions.
Look at Special:Version on Wikipedia and you can see what they have installed:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Version
There is more information at:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Parser_function_extensions
You should probably start with the instructions at:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/ParserFunctions#Installation
Someone who really knows should weigh in here. I have never been able to get a "Navbox" to work.

Is there a way to download all the templates?

Do you mean the templates on the English Wikipedia? You can get a list from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Allpages and then export them via Special:Export
But, why would you want to do that?

Currently I'm facing some difficulties copy some of the templates I like from Wikipedia...the two issues are
1) Some of the template pages are "protected", meaning I cant even view the source, for example http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:! 2) Most of the templates have dependencies on other templates, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not, though even though I go thru the dependency list one by one and copy them to my installation, the pages still look funny...
Is there a nice writeup somewhere I can read to help me properly install templates on my installation?
Thanks in advance, Josh

Yea, one of my templates seems to have some problem...I'm not sure why these <td> <tr> tags are showing in my generated HTML...
I didnt get to paste it properly, though I also am seeing this on my wiki page (aged *Expression error: Unrecognised punctuation character "{"*)
Looks like one my age templates isnt working properly...it's the Template:Age_at_date that is giving this error...
Thanks, Josh
