Thanks for the advice. It got me going in the right direction, but I still
need some help.
I have gone through the Subversion Extensions - and found what looks like a
good php script to start tweaking: examples/SpecialIncludable.php.
What's missing in order for me to do this is a betterr understanding of the
MediaWiki code structure and PHP workings:
I have currently modified the MediaWiki:NoGoMatch page to call either an
editable new wiki page (as is done normally) OR be directed to an external
html form.
Am I correct in thinking that what I need to do now is call the
SpecialIncludable class or the wfIncludable fucntion (I am somewhat confused
as to which one I need to call) from SpecialSearch:goResult - replacing the
line $wgOut->addWikiText( wfMsg('nogomatch', ":$term" ) ); ? I have
tried
playing around a bit and keep getting errors - indicating perhaps that I
have the whole process wrong ? While I am at it - how does debug PHP code ?
I tried installing the Komodo debugger but it does't seem to install well ?
Thanks,
Shai

I'd like to wiki
users to use to create new pages in the wiki. However, I'd like to
keep the monobook

You could use a custom special page for this. See various examples in
extensions in Subversion.
