Indeed, however $wgActionPaths [0] may be an alternative approach you
perhaps would like to look into. Just saw that the instructions were

I was trying to make my URLs free of any php file

followed the ShortUrl help provided in the wiki documentation and the
normal pages are now void of any "title=" or "index.php", just as I
wanted.
But the link again shows the older naive format (including index.php and
title=) when I am editing any existing page, or using a query form for
searching through the forms. The solr search also shows them.
What exactly should I do to prettify my "edit" and "search" URLs?
My site uses nginx.
Thanks in advance for the help.
