Hello, I am trying to install wiki the latest version but when I try to config the file I get the following error:
Warning: main(DatabaseFunctions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/htdocs/wiki/includes/GlobalFunctions.php on line 29
I tried to locate databasefuntions.php but there is none.......

That is precisely the problem. MediaWiki is looking for a file which it can't find, because the file doesn't exist. Ensure that you uploaded everything in the distribution tarball, preserving the directory structure, and try again.

well, I have downloaded the files 3 times all over again, but I still cant see those files. I went to an older version and some of the files are there but not all of them.....

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you "downloaded" the files 3 times. I mean whether you mean from the MediaWiki site or if you're referring to uploading then via FTP, but for what it's worth I had problems with my FTP software not uploading everything and received a similar error. It would move some of the files but not others for some reason. Once I tried a different FTP program and was able to get everything there it worked fine. You might want to make sure that is working properly.

Clearly, not everything is being uploaded properly. Are you sure you downloaded everything right from the MediaWiki web site/SourceForge?
