Dear All: I'm new to to wiki, and I have several questions for the installation.

I just installed the apatch httpd as recommended by the http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Installation

Now I can successfully start the http server by visiting http://localhost/ it appears "it works!" I configured the conf/httpd.conf add the following : <IfModule mod_userdir> LoadModule mod_userdir UserDir public_html UserDir enabled </IfModule>

However, I can not access http://localhost/~theuser/ can you help?

Now, I untar the wiki package to the /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/wiki

now I can access http://localhost/wiki/

however, I can not find any install script running, I use PHP 4.4.0

can you help?
