Hello out there,
what is the preferred way to add local css and javascripts in MW 1.5? These format my own <wikitags> so I'd like to make them available to all 'skins'.
With 1.3 I hacked the xhtml_slim.pt template.
Patrick
i would say it's at Special:Allmessages and then Monobook.css

No. To change the CSS for a skin, alter the wiki page MediaWiki:<skinname>.css, where <skinname> is the internal name of the skin - monobook, standard, classic, cologneblue, chick, etc.

No.
Too bad, because I'd like to have my css/javascript files work for all skins.
To change the CSS for a skin, alter the wiki page MediaWiki:<skinname>.css, where <skinname> is the internal name of the skin - monobook, standard, classic, cologneblue, chick, etc.
This sounds error prone.
No other way?

OK, that worked fine. Thanks. (I have disabled all skins besindes monobook.)

xhtml_slim.pt has been superseded by skins/MonoBook.php.

But that (as xhtml_slim.pt) does not apply to other skins. (At least that is what I see). Is there a general config where I can say "always load this js and this css"?
