I am having trouble with the footer under IE. When there is a short page, the left colum extends down the full length, but the footer and body will be shorter leaving a large white space under the footer. Easier seen than explained:

Under firefox, the footer stays at the bottom of the page like it should and the page looks fine. How can I fix this?
