Hi List,
Is there a simple way to have the namespace used in the page adhere to the currently selected language? For instance on an uploaded file page if I have french as my currently selected language, the interface elements are all translated, but the page title is:
File:SomeUploadedFile.txt
The preferred title would be:
Fichier:SomeUploadedFile.txt
Thanks for any help.
Cheers, Rob.

That would be cool, but could only work if Fichier is an alias to File, so [[Fichier:SomeUploadedFile.txt]] works in wikitext on that wiki.

You can already do that via the following:
$wgNamespaceAliases['Fichier'] = NS_FILE;
That's why I thought maybe the functionality already existed to have support for this in the page title.
