Hi,
after upgrading from 1.11 to 1.12 on FreeBSD6.3 I get the error message above. I found a solution here: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Project:Support_desk#.28RESOLVED.29_PHP_Fatal_... $wgParserConf['preprocessorClass'] = 'Preprocessor_Hash';
I just would like to know if this is a confirmed bug or rather a "local problem". php-xml is installed.
Thanks, Helmut

What version of PHP?

For some bizarre reason, the port maintainers for FreeBSD have disabled *default* modules in PHP5 such as the DOM module, and rolled it to a separate port, php5-dom.
Install the php5-extensions port to get a decent set of things installed.

Indeed, php5-dom seems to be a missing requirement. After installing it everything is fine.
Thanks, Helmut
