I've noticed Wikia has a nice WYSIWYG editor (FCKEditor, but its no longer being developed).
Any recommendations for the best Mediawiki WYSIWYG editor that works in Chrome and Firefox? (and possibly IE too but not required as the market share is only 13% and falling) I see "Visual editor" is in use by Wikipedia but its in alpha and not yet released officially.: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor
I guess I should wait for this editor. Any other editors which are better than this?

At present, there isn't really any. FCK was the last example I can think of, but doesn't play so nicely with people also wanting to edit the wikitext.

Basically, I'm desperately waiting for this to be done, and put into a tarball version.
