Seemed like a pretty simple intellectual excercise, so I went ahead and made one - I've tested only in MW 1.11, but it should work as far back as 1.9.x. Enjoy!

I'm looking for an extension/magic word/etc that would allow me to post the page ID in an article. I have searched Google, Mediawiki, etc but can't find one. Figured I would see if someone knows out there of functionality that exists like this.

Hi Bobby,

By "Page ID" what exactly do you mean? Do you mean the primary key of the page table in the database? Do you mean the article title as it appears in the URL bar? How do you mean "post in an article"? How are you planning to use this? What version of MediaWiki are you running?
