Hi Daniel,
thanks for your answer. I that at "Recent Changes" there are just the last
changes displayed.
But my problem is that my last files have gone - not just at "Recent Changes".
For example I have made an article called WASABI and I have also uploaded a foto caled
wasabi.jpg .
But when I search for it on my side it has gone and also the foto.
But when I search for it on my webspace then the picture is still on it.
Sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand now what I mean.

Hi,
I am new in theis community (and my english is not that well ;)
I am the webmaster of the cooking project of
http://www.allekochen.com and I am using the
software of mediawiki.
I am using this since February 2008 - and there was never a problem with it, but since a
few days I have a big problem.
When I go to "Recnt changes" I cannot see any changes anymore. There should be
by about 500 new changes - but they have gone. The last change I can see is when I enter
the upload-section - there the last pic shown here was uploaded on 4th of may.
I had this problem once ago but after one day everything was ok again - but now it does
not work anymore.
I have already asked my server, but they do not have any problem from their side.
Is there someone who could help me plz.
best regards,
Alex L.

The recent changes page uses the first limit it reaches, of the time
limit and count limit. So if you have a limit of 500 and a span of
7days, then it will stop once it has hit either 500 changes or has
reached the 7 day mark.
So you need to extend the day mark, there is a link to extend it to 30 days.
But also remember that MediaWiki periodically purges that list. There is
a config variable limiting the amount of time a row is kept, by default
that is 7 days, so it's possible that the rows have been deleted from
the db.
