Hi!
Is there a way to make specific sections of article to show up only if interface language is set to specific language? E.g. I would like to show one content of a page for English users and other content for German users. I would like to set this up on several pages, incl Main Page. Is this possible and how? May be there is an extension that does this?

What sort of content? We have https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Translate (you may also "abuse" it by having chunks of text which are not a translation of each other).
Otherwise, you can surely use Commons as source for the craziest hacks, in particular https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Template:LangSwitch does this, provided you import the related templates and create all the subpages for [[MediaWiki:Lang]].

I want to make a wiki where will be articles in different languages. Each language articles will be into separate Categories. I want to make a different Main Page for each language (with links to corresponding Categories) and also some articles may get translated. Is it possible to translate entire article with LangSwitch?
Sounds like something that can be done with the help of the Translate extension.
The MediaWiki Language Extension Bundle (MLEB) is an easy way to install it: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MLEB
