hello. I have changed the value of the nogomatch msg as explained in the folowing link.

I have found that msg in my local language file. but the change did not take efect. any idea why? other changes are compiled sucsesfuly into the DB.

You said in your local languages file. Do you mean LanguageXX.php? If so, that may be your problem - check the contents of the wiki page [[MediaWiki:Nogomatch]]. If that doesn't work, check the usual, such as caching (do a hard refresh) and so forth.

I thought messages like that were controlled through the special site messages system. Edit www.yourwiki.com/wiki/MediaWiki:Nogomatch not the languages file.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong
