I am searching for some plugin/extesion for MediaWiki, that will be sending emails with all changed articles once a week for example (not at every change). I've tried various plugins (Recent Activity Notify, Auto watch, ...) but none works under my MediaWiki 1.19.
Do you have any tips for working extension?

Are you able to run cron jobs? Otherwise, you won't be able to correctly program this. AutoWatch probably works or is easy to fix. Recent Activity Notify doesn't look hard, either, but it's (un)maintained by a third-party.
