I hope this creates a little bit more hype about MediaWiki.

I have just finished modifying Ilya Haykinson's http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/User:IlyaHaykinson Commonplace. Now, this image uploader can be used on anyones wiki, not just the commons. It's a fantastic tool to get all your images uploaded and archived.

It is now in use on my wiki, at http://fubar.graemecanivet.com/index.php/Uploader. I have done very little testing, so please let me know if there is problem with it.

Requires Windows XP & .NET Framework.
