Like the site notice, how do I make a message appear on all pages of a specific namespace, and not the entire site. Thanks, Matt

place it on the sitenotice, then hide it for all but that namespace:
#siteNotice { display: hidden } ns-4 #siteNotice { display: block }
I tried this: This Page is Un-Approved. <br> Please do not Reference this material.
#siteNotice { display: hidden } ns-2 #siteNotice { display: block }
But.. that displayed the #sitenotice{ disp.... along with the rest of the message.

Platonides meant for you to put " #siteNotice { display: hidden } ns-2 #siteNotice { display: block }" in your MediaWiki:Common.css page. (Or your main.css style sheet)
... and remember to reload your browser cache. :-)

Thanks, that works like a charm! Course now I'll have to remember next time that I need to comment out those css lines in order to have a real site notice.

You can also put parts of the message in a div with an id.
You could do <div id="ns2siteNotice">This Page is Un-Approved. <br> Please do not Reference this material.</div>
then the CSS would be
#ns2siteNotice {display: none;} ns-2 #ns2siteNotice {display: block;}
and you could also have a regular Site Notice.

I just want to say that "hidden" is an illegal value of the "display" property. You should use "none" to prevent display of the element. The other CSS property that accepts a value of "hidden" is "visibility". The difference between the two is that "display: none;" removes the element completely from being displayed and positioned. "visibility: hidden" on the other hand, prevents the element from being displayed BUT preserves the space it _was_ occupying.
