Hi,
We have a problem with the group feature of the cite extension.
The construction below works in Mediawiki 1.14, but not in 1.12 and 1.13.2.
== This should work == This should work regarding [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:REFNOTE#Separating_reference_lis ts_and_explanatory_notes] Todo:<ref group="todo">todo item 1</ref> ==Todos== <references group="todo" />
In 1.12 and 1.13.2 we get the message: Cite error 3; Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many
At http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Cite/Cite.php in section Grouped references I read:
This may be disabled by $wgAllowCiteGroups = false; if desired. However, it is enabled on the foundation wikis.
But where can I find $wgAllowCiteGroups?
Any suggestions?
Regards, Peter Verhoeven

Sounds like you've answered your own question -- use a more current version of MediaWiki.
