Only the search fascility at the sidebar is of use to me. Therefore I would like to remove it completely and add the searchform at the bottem of the main page.
I did a search on the archives, tried to use the Wikimedia:sidebar and tried by triall and error in monobook.php, but with no luck. A complete new skin like those of PaulGuWiki is too much change: I like the style of monobook. I installed DynamicSkin but can't find out how it works.
The modification I want sounds so easy ... can anyone help? Rein
Hi Rein
I must say I have troubles understanding what exactly it is you want. You want to place the search at the bottom of the page but not have it displayed in the left area? If so, then that is something that can be changed in the CSS file. If you have no experience in that regard, I suggest finding a good designer to help you get it just right as you want. Providing an image of a mockup of what you want would also be of help to a designer to get you fast and easy what you want.
There is no easy switch or the likes in Mediawiki to do what you want, only either the CSS to keep the monobook style intact, or some major changes on the template.
