Hey guys i'm having a little issue with my wiki. When i try to post an article that's long it says "ERROR: The text you have submitted is 1 kilobytes long, which is longer than the maximum of kilobytes. It cannot be saved."
I'm wondering if there is a setting somewhere that i need to change to fix this. I've tried adding $wgMaxArticle to my localsettings file and then changed the value to 4096, but that did nothing. I've got the maximum file size in my php.ini up to like 10 megs for file uploads, but that doesn't help this either... any suggestions?

Make sure that you've uploaded all the new files, and are not including files from the wrong directory containing a different version of MediaWiki.
In particular check DefaultSettings.php.
