Well, here for one thing - what do you want to know? More generally, see http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Documentation and http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Communication
I need to do a wiki migration from an ancient wiki (VQ wiki) to 1.5. I had scripts for 1.4 that inserted into cur, but of course they no longer work.
Is there a resource anywhere that explains how to do this? I don't care about change history, just getting the pages in.
Thanks,
Dave

See maintenance/tables.sql for the commented table structure definitions.
Roughly speaking, you want to: INSERT INTO page INSERT INTO text INSERT INTO revision, with the page and text row ids UPDATE page with the revision id

I'm trying to install with pretty URLs. I've followed the instructions pretty much to the letter but to no avail.
Before getting into too much detail, I've installed mediawiki in a directory called:
/er/var/thinknola/wiki
And I've set the document root as...
/er/var/thinknola
Was that a mistake?
