hello,
i have the following problem / wish (I hope that i can express it correctly, if not please ask): I d like to create one text which will be shown by command under each article. But if i change this text, the changes should be changed under all the other textes too.
For example: I create http://www.mywebsite.de/wiki/This_is_my_text
now I would like to include this text as a part of http://www.mywebsite.de/wiki/Page_01, http://www.mywebsite.de/wiki/Page_02, http://www.mywebsite.de/wiki/Page_03 and so on.
If I change http://www.mywebsite.de/wiki/This_is_my_text, the changes should apperar automatically at the other pages.
I think this should be done easily, maybe someone has the time and wants to give me a hint where i could learn how to do this.
1000 thanks I.

This can be done with templates. If you make a page called [[Template:This_is_my_text]], you can then include it in any page by doing {{This is my text}}
-Chad
Isabell, what you want can be achieved by transclusion - just enter {{This_is_my_text}} in the pages where you want that page to appear.

To change the text of a template without the text displaying on the page: <noinclude>your text here</noinclude>
To change the text of a template only when it is transcluded: <includeonly>your text here</includeonly>
