In case some of you out there haven't got around to it, don't forget that 1.4.10 (1.3.16 for 1.3 branch) fixes a serious data corruption bug which is triggered by the requests a particular spambot uses.
I strongly urge anybody out there running a 1.3 or 1.4 MediaWiki to upgrade or at least apply the fix patch described in the release announcement:
http://mail.wikipedia.org/pipermail/mediawiki-announce/2005-September/000030...
If your wiki gets hit by this corruption bug, you can only recover the damaged data from a backup or extracting the original data from MySQL binlogs, and that's a big pain in the butt.
1.5 wikis are not vulnerable to this problem.
