2008/5/21 Andre Bonhote <bonhote(a)gmail.com>om>:
This makes me hope that someone here has already
solved the problem I
have. We are in the implementation phase of a Wiki in my company.
Currently, we have around 5 different wikis around, some TWikis, some
MediaWikis, some moinmoins. Unfortunately, the data transmission from
one to the other isn't that easy.
I have found some resources on the internet[1] about moving from one
system to the other, and they all work somehow (more or less). What I
have not found is a system to import a good bunch of TWiki pages
(~200) in a decent manner.
The real problem is that anyone moving from one wiki engine to another
does the job precisely once - so all existing solutions are ad-hoc
hacks and there's no repeat users to make them better. I encountered
this with MoinMoin and ended up writing the
mediawiki.org page on
MoinMoin:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MoinMoin
Googling "twiki mediawiki" gives several bodgy scripts others have
written to make the move.
So you may have to hack together some of those. But at least you can
put the results up on
mediawiki.org for those following you :-)
