i am trying to use mediawiki for an internal collaborative project that is open only to a small group. as such, i want the files that are uploaded to have the same access as the rest of the wiki (writable and readable only via logins). unfortunately, the uploaded files are served via the direct url, which means that they do not obey the access control of the rest of the wiki.

how do i configure the wiki so that uploaded files have the same access control as the wiki articles?
