It's a wiki table with a bottom caption. It does still link to the
image, but the button type thing that appears with a thumbnail is no
longer there.

Sorry, I meant as in Example 6, we don't need links in the caption as
in Example 7.
We need resize, with a caption, without a little "go to image" icon.

We are trying to put captions below images and reduce them at the
same time in MediaWiki.
We can live with or without a frame.
However, we don't want the little button showing that links to the
full size image.
For example, as in Example 7 here
http://nutmeg.conncoll.edu/wiki/index.php/Images_Help
But without the little boxes link, as in Example 4 (but this image is
not resized, it's full size)
We would rather resize in MediaWiki and not before uploading.
