I'm new to this, but why isnt there a normal wiki-forum wgere users can post their problems and solutions?

Mailing lists / newsgroups are more the norm in the free software world. Among other things they're easily archived, and you can use the mail/newsreader of your choice for a comfortable interface.
Someone has set up a web forum though at http://www.mwusers.com/ which you may find useful.

...though bear in mind that the development team and the regulars aren't obliged to hang out around the forums, so you may not get our quality of responses; I'm sure those newbies don't have our sarcastic edge or sense of self-importance. ;-)
