Thanks, it turns out the recent change in passwords didn't make it into the AdminSettings.php file.

We change passwords regularly and it got missed during the upgrade to 1.10.

I am logged in as root on a dedicated server. We have had a couple of other things updated recently including Perl and Zend but our hosting company tells us they are able to run other PHP script on the box as root without trouble.
