Hi
I've found the system messages for changing some of the messages on the sign in account creation page, but I can't seem to find where the message about the statistics is generated. The one that says
Sitename is made by people like you.
Number of edits
number of pages
number of contributors
I need to get rid of this message since it's grossly wrong on my wiki. I used a special php script to import and create lots of pages. But, unfortunately, we didn't write the script right since everything works but the statistics have never been right. I can live with the statistics being wrong, but hate to confuse people on signup with statistics that don't made sense.
Thanks
Hi, the html containing what you said is generated at /includes/templates/Usercreate.php You can change something there or simply edit the following statement in /includes/specials/SpecialUserlogin.php from $template->set( 'benefitCount', 3 ); to $template->set( 'benefitCount', 0 );
In current git master branch this statement is located at line 1334.
Let me know if that helps you. Bye.
