Hi,
I recall seeing a conversation on this list recently about the supposed security risk with the DPL extension.
Did we ever bottom out to a conclusion on that?
I wanted to install this extension, but the security warnings on the page on the main mediawiki site scared me off installing it, particularly since my browser warned me of content on the DPL home page site when I examined it.

I haven't been on the site since Sunday and no warnings. Dev did update to new version. Works great!

A while ago, when I last investigated this, navigating to the download site for DPL gave me a security warning. It doesn't do this anymore.
Now that I go and look at the extension page on mediawiki.org (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:DynamicPageList_(third-party)), it says that the security issues have been resolved in version 2.01, so that addresses my concern.
