The WYSIWYG editor (Mafs) at this url http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:FCKeditor_%28by_Mafs%29 contains the following warning: "It may lead to security and technical problems as well as data corruption."
Is there anyone out there that can give me examples of specific problems the editor may cause ? Or what can happen with it to cause data corruption ?
I have some users that really want to implement it, but the warning worries me, so I am looking for justification for the warning.
Thx for any info, Lori

That editor is just a "first working prototype" as the home page says. It is very easy to break.
1. Edit a page and type "hello world" 2. Double-click the "hello" and click the Bold button to bold it. Notice there's a space (properly) between hello and world 3. Click Save. The space between "hello" and "world" is gone.
