Hi, I need to embed the same template on each image description page (the page you get when you click on a thumbnail image).
I found a similar request here: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/wiki/mediawiki/129846
According to answer given by Brianna ( http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/wiki/mediawiki/129448?do=post_view_fla...), javascript seems to be the easiest solution to insert default text in summary box.
Since *I don't speak javascript*, I thought it best to ask here. Thanks in advance for any help.

Look at the Extension Matrix on mediawiki.org. I seem to remember that there's a boilerplate extension that can differentiate by namespace. You would just have to set it to only do this for the image namespace and have it insert the template as boilerplate.

Hi,
Thank you for the answer. I found the following extension:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Header_Footer
The problem is I need to embed this template just before the *file history*(not at the top of the page).
Is there any solution? I could hack the PHP files but I'm not sure what to do exactly.
Thanks in advance for any help.
