Hi,
The robot.txt should be placed in the directory with index.php in it. On my wiki it's the 'public_htm'-folder.

Hi.
Where is the robots.txt-file to be placed? In the root-folder: ...Apache2.2/htdocs/my-wiki-name/?

robots.txt belongs in the top-level directory of your web site. Its URL path must be http://yoursite/robots.txt. Anywhere else, it has no effect.
