Dear Media-wiki hackers and users,
I'd like to create a new markup for a TeX wiki:
<command>\mycommand</command>
or
<command>mycommand</command>
(wich ever would be easier to program)
should link to an external http server:
http://server.com/cmd=mycommand
It would be totally nice if it opens a smaller window, some kind of
"pop up". In that window I'd like to display a syntactic description
of the command \mycommand.
Any ideas?
Patrick
(btw: I'll install the latest mediwiki now)
Make a new extension and plug it in. There are a
couple of examples in
the 'extensions' module in CVS.
Thanks for your help. Everything works fine now. I have added my own markup.
(Just for the record:) The "trick" was to add my funtion in
$wgExtensionFunctions that initializes my extension and add a callback
via $wgParser->setHook that expects two parameters: name of markup and
function to be called with the content.
