Hello! Is there a spell-checker feature available on MediaWiki? I've searched all over the Help documentation and cannot find one.
Thank you, Colleen Robledo

Another option is to help users understand how to use their own browser as a spell checker. I refer my users to the following Ohio State University page for help with that. I have no affiliation with Ohio State University. I just chose it from a Google search: http://8help.osu.edu/2143.html
I tell my wiki users that British and Americas spelling are both fine. See my wiki's page on this if you are interested: http://wikigogy.org/Spell
If you implement spell check server side, you may find yourself deciding for your users on matters of British or Americas spelling. For my site's users, it is better to let them decide that themselves per page. Wikipedia also has this issue. You may want to look up how they handle it, too.
That's all I know about it.
Good luck,

Do you know of a spell checker that can be used in Firefox with a dictionary that will leave alone the US/UK spelling differences (that is it wont suggest changing either if)?
