Relating back to my foray into SSO authentication (got it working, btw... [still looking for a way to access MediaWiki:allowedusers from the plugin...]), I am going to need to reassign edits and delete old usernames.

The reassignEdits maintenance script works like a champ to accomplish its purpose. And I think that I have a workable delete script based off of removeUnusedAccounts. Now, what I need to figure out how to do is move the User and User_talk pages (and subpages) from the old username to the new username. What would be the best way to accomplish that goal?

Anyone else getting tired of reading all of these messages from me today? ;-)
