Hi all,
I am new to mediawiki. When editing a page in mediawiki, there are three buttons to handle the form: "Save page", "Show preview" and "Show changes". Only "show page" can save the changes, but when pressing this button, the page exits the edit mode returns to read mode. This is really inconvenient when editing a page with long content. I need save frequently to ensure that my works will not be lost by accidents. Everytime I press "save page", I have to link the "edit page" and find the place I will edit.
So I wonder if there is any feature that provide "save and continue editing" functionality. When pressing a button, my changes are saved while the page doesn't exit from edit mode.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Rudd,
That's not advisable, see http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1150 for more information.

Use a text editor and save to a file on your disk. This will annoy your fellow editors less. :)
