Hi,
Is it possible to structure the pages hosted by MediaWiki? I mean, the page has fixed layout and users should not be able to change the layout. But they can edit the content inside. Is it possible? Already extensions are there for it?
Any help is much appreciated,
Thanks & Regards,

Well, it actually is like that by default - the skin determines the pages' (or the site's) layout!? Or do you mean the structure of the wiki page? Please elaborate.

Yes, I am taking about the structure of the wiki pages. For example, if a page has 10 sections, user should not be able to add a new section or change the names of the existing sections. He should be able to just edit the contents inside each section.
Sorry for not being clear in the previous mail.
Thanks & Regards,

I'm not aware of any such function or extension. And to be honest, I don't think it exists; wikis are a free-form tool, and were never meant to be that restrictive. You might be better off using a "proper" Content Management System.

And what about using a *bot* to ensure each modification respects the layout?
Is such a bot difficult to create?
