Please tell me if I got the wrong list.

In my template I have this text.

[[{{{parameter}}}]]

If I call the template with parameter=My Page Title (some info here) then I will get this information on the page:

[[My Page Title (some info here)]]

Is there a way to convert the template so it looks like the following instead? I don't want the link to show the parentheses to the user but I want the link to contain the parentheses and text inside itself.

[[My Page Title (some info here)|My Page Title]]
