Hello everyone!
I am a newbie to the open source community, and I would like to start contributing as a developer to fix any of the bugs (or at least try).
So, I followed the below link for installing MediaWiki but got stuck since last few days at the Configure MediaWiki part. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Running_MediaWiki_on_Ubuntu
I was followed the steps exactly as in above suggested link except that I downloaded mediawiki-1.25.2.tar.gz https://releases.wikimedia.org/mediawiki/1.25/mediawiki-1.25.1.tar.gz, the latest release.
"Under *Database Config*, you *may* change the database name and DB username to new values, *but you must turn on "Use superuser account", name: debian-sys-maint "* I am not able to figure out *where and how* to turn on the superuser account. This might be an easy or obvious step, but I really have no clue about how to do this. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
P.S. - I didn't had any problem before the Configure Mediawiki paragraph. Please look at the attachments if required.
Thank you Regards
Hi would you like to help fix the latest version which you would be looking for the master branch or would you like to help fix the latest release which is MediaWiki 1.25.

Great! Thank you for your interest in contributing to MediaWiki.
Instead of replying directly to your question, let me say that if your goal is to develop for MediaWiki, then you might want to take a look to another way to setup your environment with MediaWiki-Vagrant.
