Hi,
We're revisiting in MediaWiki 1.27 our semantic web support.
The RDFa 1.0 and microdata tags will be always available, without the
need to set an option.
See
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/rMWe789f51f1183d57999926b80c726338d8611e2…
Furthermore, we would like to support RDFa 1.1.
See
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Requests_for_comment/Update_our_code_to_use_…
This change could break your current RDFa 1.0 use. The RFC highlights
the main change.
The full list is available at
https://www.w3.org/TR/rdfa-core/#major-differences-with-rdfa-syntax-1.0
We have a question for people who are running wikis with the MediaWiki software.
Do someone here use RDFa 1.0? If so, do you plan a migration to RDFa
1.1 or could we help you to?
Depending on your feedback, we'll be inclined to offer a compatibility
path or to directly update to RDFa 1.1, and drop
RDFa 1.0 support.
