Hello the wikiworld!
Hello JFCM
Just new so I am not sure this is an old issue, but I did not find response anywhere. I have a few hundred pages I daily update on my PC from different sources. I can produce them in any format (including wikiedit). I would like to know if I can FTP them in some way and to have them loaded as updates of the eve's version. The content of these pages is intrinsic to the wikisite I build, so I would need them to display and be supported the same.
They can be uploaded with a bot. pywikipedia is usually the bot choice.
I would also like to know if there is an automated way to mail me a diff of the pages that can have been updated by readers.
I'm sure there's some configuration/extension (enotif?) allowing you to get an email of your watched pages.
This would permit me to get the updates and validate them before really accepting them in the content?
Wikis don't work in an accept way. Everything is accepted and then reverted if undesired.
Thank you very much for your suggestions. jfc
