I wanted to use MediaWiki as the "engine" which would describe a number of technical terms here where I work.
What I noticed though, that it is impossible to make an article which would start with a small letter - each and every new article is automatically converted to uppercase.
For some technical terms I am going to describe this would look awkward.
Is it possible to make articles which names would be started from a small letter?
If so, how?
Set $wgCapitalLinks = false; in LocalSettings.php.

If this setting, $wgCapitalLinks = false; is set, does it define a capital letter link as different from the undercase one?
Foo = foo, or are they different pages?
