I have the following configuration : I have Mediawiki 1.13.3 and semantic mediawiki 1.4.1 on ubuntu server 2.6.17-9-server with LDAP installed. This serves as a main server. I had to make a test server which is the exact replica of the main server, which i did by taking database backup and the mediawiki back up.
The test server works fine for whitelisted pages. But where user login is required to view certain pages, it doesn't accept the login information.
What modifications should be done in LocalSettings.php to redirect the LDAP authentication to the main server? Is it possible at all? Or should I have to install LDAP on the test server as well?
Please help.
installing phpLdapadmin on the test server and setting the server names to the main server has solved my problem. Thanks, Sirisha
