I have already linked my forum members to the wiki member database. I really just need to know how to export the Wiki Navigation toolbar. Is there a direct approach to calling the navigation box from a separate html page? I am guessing <? Php include something?

I have run across a vbulletin forum inside the mediawiki skin also. I can't seem to find it again, but I know that it has the mediawiki sidebar left of the forums, which is my main concern. Google is not my friend today.
Well, reproducing that ought to be pretty easy in any reasonably skinnable forum software - the sidebar is only a bunch of links, after all, and doesn't need to actually touch the wiki database. And making them visually match is just a case of playing with CSS for long enough.
The hard part is if you want to do things like use the users from one database for both pieces of software - the mailing list archives should reveal lots of people who've at least attempted this... (use "site:mail.wikipedia.org" in a Google/Yahoo/whatever query)
